I noticed while playing the castle level that the green gem did move on the map, (which may have been intentional by developers) and I'm fine with that it's just wherever it appears, it's either not there or impossible to reach, you guys have any idea why?

Hey, thanks for posting. Sorry about taking so long to respond.
Since the castle's green gem is obtained by killing the three possessed enemies, the green crystal on the minimap indicates the closest possessed enemy. If the indicator is inaccessible than that means it is currently tracking a ghost, who can move through walls. Eventually the ghost should approach you. If it doesn't than it might be an issue with the ghosts current movement behavior, which would need to be addressed.
