MagicMaker v 0.9.1.2
Firing a Rock + Optic lens + Prism Spell Repeatedly while in the Hub Produced a Permanent* FPS decrease in proportion to the length of time it had been fired.
155 => 130 FPS on first firing, dropping to as low as 13 FPS after subsequent firing.
*Permanent until restarting MagicMaker or leaving the hub. Reproduce: 1) Create a spell containing high grade Optic lense + rock + Prism ( the affect occured without prism for me, but to a lesser degree) 2) fire it a few times in Dorwall/ the hub (the affect is most noticeable when the beam leaves the screen)
notes: Slowdown not noticeable on other levels. After repeated firing sometimes noticed other spell effects not rendering. CPU i7 3.4Ghz 8x hyperthreading 16GB RAM Radeon 7700

Thanks for catching this!
I've fixed and it'll be in final release!

That was quick. What was causing it? If I had to hazard a guess I'd say some GFX resources were not getting released, but why was it noticeable only in the hub? And I didn't notice my RAM use go up either which was the first thing I checked after being able to repro.

You're close! It was creating light objects that weren't being cleaned up. You didn't see your RAM use change because Magicmaker requests memory from the computer in large chunks, then parcels it out as it needs it. Your RAM use would have jumped up eventually once Magicmaker used up all the memory it had requested.
