Suggestions:
1) Small increase of monsters in temple level.
the Temple level can take a while to finish, depending on how prepared you are for it with spells. One problem I noticed is that ones health can very easily get whittled away with no way to regenerate it. Besides going in equipped with mobility spells to speed up progress and dodge boss attacks, I think adding a few more small monsters might make lifesteal spells a viable alternative to keeping ones health up a little longer if one is having trouble.
2) way to gain a second wand. (if there is ignore this)
I find that with my play style I like to have two offensive abilities: a high dmg one, and a low mana-cost one.
But I would like to have two mobility or utility spells too: a high cost one, and a low mana-cost one.
3) More balancing of the point scoring.
The way the current point scoring works is not very consistent with the effectiveness of your spells.
For example, Spamming wand with high grade spiderSilk,crystalBall,trickBullet,bouncyBall will slowly kill anything and give a very high score based on hit combos.
But using a much more effective (enchantment) spell: miniSun,crystalBall,spiderSilk,owlbearTrap will instagib anything but give a very low score.

Things that are RIGHT with the game:
Very fun. I've played through a few times now with various versions for bugtesting but it was never a chore, Just as fun each time round.
The Dialog is consistently funny. It creates a snarky feel to the game and then sticks to it so it never feels out of place.
The spell customization which is the main point of the game is very addictive. It seems to tap into [my] drive to minmax and become as OP as possible, in creative ways.

The in-development version of the game has significantly increased enemy spawns across all zones, including the temple zone. While we're still fine-tuning things, I can assure you that the temple zone will definitely be more populated! Long-ish story short: we tried this initially, but the issue that consistently came up was ease of use. We tried a variety of control schemes but I recall they either felt clunky or were a bit too complicated for the average player. While I understand where you're coming from (I'm the hardcore min-maxer on the team), we decided in the end to add an extra material slot to the wand for its upgrade. Re: mana costs, in the in-dev version mana costs have been re-tuned in a manner that we hope alleviates the need for spell differentiation on cost concerns alone. We've scrapped the score attack system entirely (along with gold drops) and it will not be in the release version. In short, it was too nebulous to balance properly given the versatility of the spell system, there were tons of bugs and edge-cases, and the reward system wasn't accomplishing what it was intended for to begin with.
