Version 0.7.3 I know, Runtime Errors are commonly caused by problems in the computer, not the program, but what I've encountered only crashes after I attempt to continue from my first save file, and I am perfectly capable of loading other save slots, which seems a little peculiar to me. When the error occurs, it prompts a message about the program requesting to be terminated in an unusual way. I can't seem to reproduce the error, as another save which has progressed almost identically seems to work. And I'm apparently a complete moron, who didn't think to back up the save before checking whether the save slot was the issue. Well, it seems this report isn't going to be any use.

I don't think I'll be able to fix this without the offending savefile. If you find it again, be sure to get the savefile to me.
Thanks for your help.

I am getting the exact same error. The savefile that started giving me this error was in the first slot, but moving it to another slot also keeps giving the error. I rar-ed and uploaded it here. Another strange thing about the save: If you go into Continue, click an empty save slot (thus starting a new game), then return to the title page, then go to Continue and click the 'corrupted' save, the save does load, with the correct wizard, equipment, and unlocked levels, but with all quests reset to the starting quests. Quitting the game and running it again after that and trying to continue that save gives you the original error again. If this is relevant, just before the save got corrupted, I was trying out the alchemy system, and it seemed completely broken. Trying to combine items did nothing, and separating items gave what looked like debug messages in the bottom left but did not actually give/remove items. I figured quitting and reloading the game might fix that, and that's the point where the save wouldn't load anymore.

Thanks Poltifar.
It looks like this is an issue with character customization not saving properly. I don't know how soon I can fix this but I will get it done as soon as I figure it out.
For now, you can work around this issue by opening up SAVEFILE in notepad, and deleting the twelve numbers in line 7 before the E. (Keeping the E is important, or else the game will lock up) This will reset your character appearance to the default look, and the game should load properly.
