Version: 0.73
Repro Steps:
1. Place grade F fairy wing on robe. 2. Stand still on solid ground. 3. Hover cursor over double jump icon.
Observed:
Number of jumps remaining flickers very rapidly, as if the act of standing still on solid ground consisted of performing a constant stream of sub-pixel micro-jumps.
4. Jump repeatedly.
Observed:
Performing the first jump will often release the burst of feather particles, following which the second jump will be impossible.
5. Jump while holding S while standing on a fall-through platform.
Observed:
Often, the character jumps with a burst of feather particles instead of falling through the platform.
One thing that these "sub-pixel micro-jumps" don't affect is the bonus damage from standing still with a ton of bricks on the robe; that bonus remains in place.

I'm afraid I can't reproduce this.
The only thing I can think of is that maybe an usual framerate is messing with the physics. Is your framerate low, or very inconsistent?
Thanks for helping out.

The framerate is in the 140s, but it does vary, occasionally dropping below 140 or rising above 150.

This isn't an isolated event, I've seen it too. I've found standing on platforms which you can pass through and jumping normally will use my second jump at least 50% of the time, though it seems holding the jump button will never produce the bug.

I believe I have fixed this bug.
A separate bug in the framerate controller combined with a high framerate caused the physics to believe the player character was not actually resting on the ground.
Thank you for reporting this.
