Version 0.7.2.1
After collecting the five Enchanted Bones for the quest "Wouldn't You Like to See Something Strange?", closing the game entirely then returning to the save resets progress. I have managed to reproduce the results by closing Magic Maker, but simply returning to the main menu does not seem to have the same result.
Repro Steps: 1) Run MagicMaker.exe 2) Acquire the "Wouldn't You Like to See Something Strange?" quest from the Wandmaker 3) Go to the Castle on any difficulty, collect the required number of bones from skeletons. 4) Defeat the area boss and return to the hub through the portal. 5) Exit out of Magic Maker entirely. Ensure the game stops running. 6) Boot MagicMaker.exe 7) Select "Continue" and continue from the save in which you collected the bones 8) Check your journal - The bones should no longer be collected.
Note: On further investigation, the same results have occurred when collecting the Goblin Eyes for the same quest and following the same actions.

Thanks for catching this, foreverwolf.
It seems that quest items are not saving properly, this should be an easy fix though.

I've found a case similar to this, with quest targets resetting, and I thought it was related enough to not warrant a new thread. Report: Version 0.7.2 For the quest "Late Fees" you are required to avoid taking damage and standing on cactus tiles. I failed both of these objectives, but decided to continue with the level regardless. Upon entering the treasure room, I walked past a cactus and saw that the counters had been reset upon entering the treasure room. Reproduction: 1) Run Magic Maker 2) Acquire the quest "Late Fees" 3)Enter the Desert on Associate's difficulty. 4) Fail both objectives for "Late Fees" and proceed to finish the level. 5) Access the treasure room revealed after defeating the boss. 6) Check your journal. I'm not sure if this reset is caused by something similar to the prior quest reset, but I felt it should be reported, regardless.

This is a separate issue. Fail-able objectives are supposed to reset upon re-entering the hub level, but an oversight on my part made it so they reset on entering any level.
Thanks for reporting this.
