I bought the game on Steam a few days ago. Everytime I start it, Steam either doesn't show the window "Game will be started", or it does and then nothing happens. I have tried logging out and back in, restarting hte computer and de-installing and then re-installing the game multiple times.

Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Magicmaker" and run model.exe directly.
Please let me know what happens.

@laddo D It says: "OpenAL32.dll is missing, please install that programm again, to solve the problem".

Looks like OpenAL didn't install correctly. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Magicmaker\_CommonRedist\OpenAL\2.0.7.0" and run the executable "oalinst.exe". Then try to run the game.

I try to play the game but when I start it up it closes steam and steam doesn't respond if you can help me please do because me and my cousin love this and he can play it but I cant and I don't know why?
I found the Program Files Downloaded it but still nothing

What happens when you go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Magicmaker" and run model.exe directly? Does a message come up?

For me, it tries to boot up the game, but when the randomized symbols of possible different spell combinations reaches the top of the first half of the letter "O" in "LOADING" it freezes, no message, no explanation. Simply stops responding.

Please find your save file, in one of the numbered folders in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Magicmaker\saves". It is called "SAVEFILE". Please email it to tastystewdios AT gmail DOT com, and I will repair it." |
